BlockheaDs in Britain Blu-ray Review****-

Cert 18 | 82 mins | 2022

4 Star

When UK and USA Stunts Collide.

Mayhem and madness is about to spew from your Blu-ray player as Khyler Vick (blockheaDs the Movie, blockheaDs 3) makes his way across the pond to good old Blighty. With a send-off from his friend’s producer Joe Frantz (Cross Bearer, CKY Trilogy: Round 1) and CKY’s main man Bam Margera (Jackass 2.5, Jackass Number Two), the once dead stuntman is ready to bring a little madness to this sceptred Isle.

As Khyler takes off, our intrepid UK based action junkies Degenerate, Trojan (Mark Sears, I Am Vengeance: Retaliation) and Medieval head to pick up our American hero, fuelled by cans of 8% energy drinks you know that they are not going to feel the pain as much as you do.

Once collected, let the mayhem begin, as the quartet, plus others start to cause the destruction of fluorescent tubes and bulbs, garden furniture, fence panels, trestle tables, and heavens knows how many gallons of flammable liquid.

With madcap stunts of jumping off things wearing a plastic chair, or just set on fire, or slap some fluorescent tube to your back and get slammed into a table that is on fire.

Drop-kicks, left, right, and centre as bodies fly across the room or something a bit wetter.

There is pain at every turn, and I think the most painful would be, having Roman candles fired at you… Ouch. The action is intense as each stunt is filmed from multiple locations, and are all edited together to give you the action from every angle. The stunts are infused with some serious tunes by the likes of…

D3arly D3part3d, In Flames, Pastel Ghost, Mr Kitty, Leftover Crack, Paste Noire, and many, many more. BlockheaDs in Britain is definitely not for the faint-of-heart, but if you are into jumping off a container, either on fire or on a plastic chair onto a trestle table, this is right up your street.

Thanks to Degenerate Films and Ill-advised Films for such a dynamic stunt show, you can feel the pain through your screen.
