4.25 Stars of Multi Award Winning Slick CGI.
The musics right, the sound effects are right and the visuals are beautiful. People walk a bit strange but I don’t know if that’s deliberate or not.
Season 5 continues the story of the inhabitants of the Jedi Temple as they and their clone army battle the massive Separatist droid army run by the Dark side.
This Season centres around Anakin Skywalker, (Matt Lanter, Disaster Movie) and his Padawan learner Ahsoka Tano, (Ashley Eckstein, Sydney White) as the Separatist army push back the Jedi and their influence spreads to new systems, their leadership is brutal as many a star system can vouch for.
The PG cert feels a bit low for me as the series mentions many things that I don’t think a young child would be able to comprehend, such as beheading, suicide, madness and dismemberment.
Some episodes see Darth Maul and his brother try and build a criminal empire as they slice there way through space-pirates and planetary defences to take over planets, the the dark Sith Lord is not pleased with his Padawan and neither is Obi-Wan Kenobi, (James Arnold Taylor, TMNT).
R2-D2 plays a large part of the series as does the usual members of the Jedi council and who has the gaul to bomb the Temple is it one of their own and who will the finger of blame point at.
The younglings get their own story and we learn how they face their first real challenge, finding a crystal that only they can see in an ancient secret temple. The crystal will be the critical part in the centre of their lightsaber, which we learn the construction methods of.
All in all 20 great episodes with commentaries if you want that sort of thing and cast interviews and editors cuts as not all episodes aired.
