Wrong Time, Wrong Place, Wrong Scam.

From first time writer Roy Rivett, comes a dark-comedy crime caper, directed by Cinematographer Zak Fenning (Fried (TV Mini Series)) who brings to life this tale of unlucky friends and the mess they find themselves in. This film is a stepping stone for the up-and-coming Rina Lipa in her first feature film. The hapless duo Tony Cook (Dune: Part Two) and Jonny Weldon (The People We Hate at the Wedding) keep you gripped to the story as it unfolds. A dark sense of humour is required for this one.

Anthony (Cook) and Richard (Weldon) find themselves in a very sticky situation, they are in a lock-up, strung-up by their wrists. This turn of events has arisen because Dick invented a virus that bypasses the banks’ security, and it also withdraws a lot more money (£100,000) than was requested and transfers the illegal funds into our duo’s bank account. Thing is, they did this scam to Emery (Tomi May, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, Justice League) the biggest gangster in the land, nobody crosses Emery.

One of Emery’s gang is smart Clarky (Bradley Turner, Unwelcome) who sees the usefulness in Dick’s virus in their criminal enterprises, and being a hundred grand in the hole to Emery, they now work for him to pay back the money plus interest, an offer they cannot refuse.

The pair plus long term friend M (Sasha Latoya, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) set about earning Emery a lot more money, whilst meeting a lot of very nasty people, they need to get out.

Stay Chipper.

Ant has a Greek lady-friend, Thea (Christina Gkioka, Mistaken) and this gets Ant thinking of a bolt-hole for himself and the romantically stunted Dick, but first they have to survive the day-to-day criminal life as Clarky sends them out on dodgy jobs. But they do have an ace up their sleeve in the guise of Scarlett (Rina Lipa) an ambitious young woman that wants Clarky’s position and become Ant and Dicks handler.

They don’t need us, they need our system.

Watch as our hapless duo try and find their way to freedom. With plenty of Dick jokes and dark humour a plenty, you are in for a treat as you watch A Gangsters Life. It’s Bloody Fun.

They’re going to kill us.
