All the fun of the Horror House.

For the first time in over twenty years, writer/director Kevin Lewis (The Drop, Dark Heart) directs someone else’s story (G.O. Parsons, – Killer Sharks: The Attacks of Black December (2011)), and what he brings us is an oddity, in this weird (or farcical) comedy horror.

The start of the film puts us in no doubt where we are headed, as gruesome deaths ensue at Willy’s Wonderland, but how did these hapless people end up at this run down family attraction?

We soon find out as a Camaro races down the road to Hayesville, lying in wait for this type of traveller is a police stinger ready to blow out the tyres of any unfortunate stranger (Nicolas Cage, Tokarev, A Score to Settle, The Frozen Ground, Season of the Witch, Con Air, Vengeance: A Love Story). Fortunately there is Jed’s (Chris Warner, SEAL Team VI) flat bed on hand to fix up the burst tyres, but he can’t get it done until tomorrow, and it will cost a $1000, There isn’t a hotel, but if you are willing to roll up your sleeves and get a little dirty there is a job at Willy’s Wonderland that will pay for the cost of the repairs, just go see Tex Macadoo (Ric Reitz, The Last Full Measure)  and make the deal.

Just spruce the place up ready for a re-opening and he’ll pay for the repairs and you can be on your way.

Elsewhere in Hayesville Sheriff Lund (Beth Grant, Donnie Darko, Speed, No Country for Old Men) is dealing with her wayward daughter Liv (Emily Tosta, Selfie Dad) who along with her friends, Chris (Christian Delgrosso, School Spirits), Kathy (Caylee Cowan, Incision), Dan (Jonathan Mercedes, Truth or Dare (TV Movie)), Bob (Terayle Hill, Judas and the Black Messiah), Aaron (Christian Delgrosso, Disconnected) and Evan (David Sheftell, Show Me What You Got) keep trying to burn down Willy’s Wonderland. They know the towns deadly secret.

What more do you need than a bunch of delinquents, a tough guy and murderous animatronics who have homicidal thoughts on their minds. They need to feed and the town will provide. The Pact is sealed.

Willy’s Wonderland is available on DVD, Blu-ray and Amazon Prime
