Finger Licking Good!

Chained soldier manga was created by Takahiro (Yuki Yuna is a Hero) and illustrated by Yohei Takemura, serialized on Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ online platform. This has been adapted for anime by Seven Arcs (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha). Now MVM brings us season one of this contentious anime that delves into the realms of slave and mistress’. What ever your thoughts on this subject, this is a cracking monster versus’ human anime.

Yuuki Wakura (Yûya Hirose, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train) lives in an alternate Japan, where a strange monster realm, “the Mato” is filled with “Shuuki”, that love to eat humans, this dark and brooding place impinges on the human realm. These Mato events happen all over Japan, and people go missing or worse. One of these events killed Yuuki’s sister Aoba.

Now Yuuki is a young man, who once again is trapped in a Mato event, but this time the Demon Defence Force tries to come to his rescue. This force consists of Kyouka Uzen (Akari Kitō, The Demon Girl Next Door), Himari Azuma (Yume Miyamoto, Metallic Rouge), Shushu Suruga (Mari Hino), and Nei Ōkawamura (Hina Tachibana, My Tiny Senpai), and these young ladies have special abilities due to the “Peaches” that grow in the Mato, and after females eat these Peaches they gain supernatural powers that allow them to lay waste to the Shuuki. During Yuuki’s event, Kyouka comes to his aid using her power of being able to shackle Shuuki to her as a fighting companion, where she rides upon their backs.

 

But this time it is a vicious attack and Yuuki and Kyouka are stranded alone, and with no escape routes apparent, Kyouka asks Yuuki if she can shackle him and fight their way out. He agrees, not knowing the consequences of his consent. When she puts the collar on him, he transforms into a fast fighting monster with Kyouka on his back. But for the consent to use him as her slave, she must do him a favour in return, which gets more and more sexual as we head through the episodes.

Chained Soldier Season one is five hours of monster slaying and discovery as they learn more about each other and their powers, as they spend more time in the Mato dimension. All is not what it seems. For fans of the supernatural fantasy genre.
