4 Star
At 2,000ft, No One Can Hear You Scream.
From up-and-coming writer/director Scott Mann (The Tournament, Heist), he brings us an unexpected top-shelf thriller, (as the subject matter, seems a bit far-fetched), but what a thriller, it will have you on the edge-of-your-seat, holding your breath throughout the length of the film. Not to mention the amazing vistas in the Shadow Mountains in California’s Mojave Desert, where the tower is. Also, a big-hats-off to the stars for doing their own stunts, in those conditions. Definitely grab the popcorn for this one.
Fun-loving couple Becky (Grace Caroline Currey, Shazam!, Annabelle: Creation) and Dan (Mason Gooding, Scream, Scream VI), love climbing along with their friend Shiloh Hunter (Virginia Gardner, All the Bright Places, Halloween), on one of these fun climbs, tragedy suddenly strikes when Dan is startled, and he looses his grip, and he disappears into the distant below.
Becky withdraws while she grieves. Her father James Conner (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, The Walking Dead: Dead City, The Integrity of Joseph Chambers) thinks she grieves to much, and tells her that Dan would never have mourned for a year, much to Becky’s annoyance, and she falls out with James. It’s Shiloh to the rescue.
To bring her out of her stupor, Shiloh suggests that they head out into the middle of know where and climb to the top of the decommissioned 2,000-foot B-67 TV Tower in the desert before it is demolished. Shiloh says that it would be a great idea to climb the tower and scatter Dan’s ashes from the top, and that would be a fitting end to her grieving. Finally, she agrees to Shiloh’s crazy idea.
After a long drive out to the middle of the desert, they see the tower for its full size, it’s massive.

The next day they start the accent, and from our view point we can see this thing is rotten, but up-and-up they go, until they reach a small platform where they can scatter Dan’s ashes.
The adventure starts here, and you are in for a treat as you see Becky getting her life back, as Shiloh records it all for her social media channel.
This is living the highlife.
