Second Play Through Time.

This anime is based on the Japanese light novel series written by Tenichi. MVM brings us the full twelve episodes in this collection. Where we see a young woman reborn in a world based on the otome game Our Ray of Light, she had been playing the game for a really long time, and she knows the game backwards. What will she do when she finds herself as the final boss? She remembers well what her character was like in her previous play throughs. How will it go this time?

After a fatal accident, eighteen year old Pride Royal Ivy wakes in her bed an eight year old and soon realises that she is in the game that she has been playing for many a year. The thing that hits home right away is that her character is the main protagonist, and she is the most evil and sadistic young woman that the world has ever seen. In this world, sword and sorcery are common place as people can develop special abilities, which they can use for the good of the people or for the betterment of their personal coffers.

Pride decides to change the outcome of her play through, where she used her power for her own sadistic gratification, she made people despise her and swear vengeance upon her, and eventually defeat her as the final boss.

Her first action to avert her journey from the wrong path is to warn her father, Albert Royal Ivy, that the wheel on his carriage is faulty, as in her memory she sees that the loose wheel would lead to his death. With this declaration, it is deemed that she has the special ability of precognition.

Due to etiquette, Pride is brought a servant that will become her consort when she becomes queen. Stale, a young boy torn from his single mother is reluctant and is cuffed so that he cannot use his special ability of teleportation to escape. To stop him doing so he has to sign a contract of allegiance, that magically makes it impossible for him to break the contract. But Pride remembers what her play through did to Stale and promises that that outcome will never happen, as we see one of many flashbacks to the evil Pride.

Due to her determination to steer her life down a different path, she turns her reputation as a vile spoilt brat to one of admiration, and people start pledging their undying allegiance to her, even criminals. But in the background there is treachery, someone else is trying to change their future for selfish reasons.

See how she manages to achieve all this as you watch these twelve rivetting episodes. A very colourful anime, and a great idea for a story. Enjoy the transformation.
