Not the Enemy You Want.

Known simply as ‘Instant Death’, it was a Japanese light novel series created by Tsuyoshi Fujitaka, that was back in 2016. Now MVM brings
Okuruto Noboru Studio‘s anime directed by Masakazu Hishida (Innocent Venus (TV Series), Gundam Reconguista in G) to us in this two disk Blu-ray. If you were a gamer this is the one power you want to have. This is God Tier stuff.

Let the bodies hit the floor.

Sleepyhead Yogiri Takatou (David Matranga, DRAMAtical Murder, Attack on Titan: Season Three Part 2) and his classmates are on a coach heading out for a field trip, But unbeknownst to him their coach is transported to a fantastical World where the most powerful Sage Sion (Kristen McGuire, Made in Abyss Season 2, Prison School) offers all the classmates that are awake the opportunity to become Sages in the Capitol city, she gives them the ability to see each other’s stats and classes. There is one hour before a dragon arrives so you better get moving, oh and those that haven’t been chosen can be lest as a distraction for the dragon.

Those are Yogiri Takatou and the girl Tomochika Dannoura (Monica Ria, The Demon Girl Next Door Season 2, A Certain Magical Index: The Movie) who is curled up beside him.

She wakes first, and eventually manages to wake Takatou, just as the dragon arrives.

It’s a Wyvern, actually.

Takatou takes all this drama in his stride as the Wyvern comes in for the kill. There is a sudden sparkle in his eyes “Die!” The Wyvern immediately falls to the ground dead. With the drama over they assess their situation, about being in a strange land with dangers all around. Just as three of their classmates fly into view. When they arrive, they explain that they have been here before and that they managed to get back home, and that they are now Sage’s with different powers, A Hero, a necromancer, and the healer Daimon Hanakawa (Greg Cote, Re:cycle of Penguindrum: Part 1 – Your Train is the Survival Tactic, Princess Principal Crown Handler: Chapter 2), the hero and the Necromancer don’t believe that Takatou has any power, as they were left behind, and they cannot see any stats on our abandoned pair.

The hero and the necromancer soon find out (for a very brief second) that he does have a deadly power. With just the healer left they start to get information about their surroundings and what it takes to get back home.

This is their journey, there are a lot of adversaries out their that want to test him and his invisible ability, from vampires, undead hoards heroes and villains too gods, they will all test them.

I guess thoughtlessly killing others does have its drawbacks.

My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered is for the gamers out their that would love to have an ability that is so overpowered. A Great addition by MVM.
