This Will Literally Blow His Mind.

Tim Travers and the Time Traveler’s Paradox, is one of those thought experiments that should have stayed a thought experiment, not because this is a bad idea. No, because this film will have your brain twisted so much that it will disappear up its own black hole. This all the fault of Stimson Snead, the actor, writer and director whose mind transcends time, and time paradoxes. This is an amazing feat of writing, following on from his 2022 short of the same name. There must also be a big shout-out to the editor J.D. McKee (Novocaine, Train Dreams) who must have had a nightmare following all the scenes, and keeping this film flowing.

The question is, what if you are a reclusive genius? Well this one,
Tim Travers (Samuel Dunning, Canoe Dig It?, Something of a Monster) decides to build a time machine, and with all time machines, they need a lot of power to work, so as you do he acquires plutonium to power it (Na don’t ask where he got that from, they will find him).

Tim takes out his frustrations on the James Bunratty (Joel McHale, Deliver Us from Evil, The Informant!) podcast, in the sound booth is Delilah (Felicia Day, Mystery Science Theater 3000 (TV Series), The Guild (TV Series)) who he interacts with.

There is only one thing for Tim to do, try his theory, can you go back in time, one minute, then kill your younger self, therefore removing you from the timeline? He does this, and he exists, Well, how do you explain this?

Theory 1, time travel is coincidental transportation (Parallel universe).

Theory 2, time travel leads to a different dimension. Paradox.

Theory 3, a new universe is created. Need to recreate the experiment. Bang!

This leads to a mind-bending series of events, where the experiment is repeated multiple times, before Tim realizes that he needs more brilliant minds on the job, where can he find those? Himself of course.

Then it’s loathing and loving in some very bizarre ways. Throw in the assassin
Helter (Stimson Snead) who comes across multiple Tim’s, which has him wondering about his sanity, or is Tim a god, (Give it infinite time).

Throw in a cameo from the great Danny Trejo (Renegades, From Dusk Till Dawn Season 2) and you are definitely onto a winner, oh and spare a thought to the poor barmaid (Nicole Lynn Murray, Dead Friends (TV Series)).

This film must be seen to be believed, it will not be a waste of your time.

Tim Travers & the Time Traveler’s Paradox is on UK digital 26 January from GrimmVision
