What Would Drive You to Kill?

Director Chris Palmer (Superman: Man of Tomorrow, Voltron: Legendary Defender (TV Series)) returns with Part Two of the dark, gripping DC animation tale. Where the Bat is up against an unknown serial killer that preys on the mafia bosses of Gotham city.

What we get is what we take.

For months, the ‘Holiday’ killer has been stalking the streets of Gotham city. They are targeting the Falcone and Maroni families business’, and for three months Gotham City Police Department Captain James Gordon has waited patiently for Batman to turn up. But Batman (Bruce Wayne) is distracted by Poison Ivy (Katee Sackhoff, 2036: Origin Unknown, Oculus, Battlestar Galactica (TV Series)) who has him enthralled, and is persuading him to hand over the Wayne legacy to the Falcone Mafia family. Everything in Bruce Waynes life is bright and shiny until Catwoman (Naya Rivera, Mad Families, Glee (TV Series)) brings him back to reality.

Batman is back in the game and when Mother’s Day comes around we find that Holiday as he is now called is cleaning his house with the death of Holiday’s gun supplier. Also, on the same night Arkam Asylum has a breakout, Scarecrow (Robin Atkin Downes, The Umbrella Academy (TV Series) ) and Mad Hatter (John DiMaggio, Better Call Saul (TV Series)) disappear into the gloom of Gotham’s underbelly.

This doesn’t feel like just a job for you. It’s personal. Why?

Batman: He’s my friend. And he needs help.

With Arkam inmates loose and Mafia bosses scared of the Holiday killer, Batman and his accomplices have their work cut out, and with his friend DA Harvey Dent showing signs that he may be losing a mental battle, evidence points in that direction. Batman has a dilemma, to help his friend or his ties to the Falcone family.

DC Animation brings us a very dark part of the Batman’s life.
